[Men's Outdoor Track & Field] Tabor Track and Field Takes 4th at KCACPublished by
North Newton, KS – Tabor College men's track team had a great showing at the 2014 Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference track meet at Bethel College in North Newton, KS on May 1-2. The performances by the Bluejays gave them 102 points which was good for a fourth place finish. Senior Alex Grier (SR/Kansas City, MO) (200m), junior Garrett Daugherty (JR/Minneapolis, KS) (1500m), and sophomore Tyler Entz (SO/Yukon, OK) (high jump) were individual champions. Daugherty, junior Phillip Magos (JR/Temecula, CA), sophomore Bret Mueller (SO/Tampa, KS), and freshman Josh Richert (FR/Hillsboro, KS) team for the championship in the 4 x 800 meter relay. Nine Bluejays earned First Team All-KCAC honors with three more athletes being named honorable mention all-conference. Daugherty won the honor of the Men's Athlete of the Meet.
